If you have lots of charts, you may wonder if it affects the performance of TIKI Navigator to have them all loaded at the same time.

It doesn’t.
TIKI can handle thousands of charts, so if you for instance have installed all the US charts from a DVD, it’s no problem.

Still you may find it unnecessary to have all your charts loaded at the same time. Instead you may want to load only charts for a certain area, and expand or change the area whenever you want.

But how do you know which charts to load?

You don’t need to know.
TIKI’s Chart Manager has a visual chart picker feature that makes it easy to select charts for a certain area. Here you just right-click on the World chart and drag the mouse to select the area you want. You can change the area selection at any time without having to restart TIKI Navigator.
