The great thing about electronic charts is that you get a good focus on the area around the boat. But a small PC screen can't at the same time give you the large overview like a paper chart. Or can it? With a split screen and two charts of different scale, you get the best of both worlds.

Changing the scale or zoom level of each of the chart windows is done with a mouse click. When you right-click anywhere on a chart, a tool panel pops up under the mouse, making panning, scaling or zooming in/out really easy and quick (see page 4).
