How do you set up TIKI Navigator
for Buddy Tracking?

Actually, there is no set up for BuddyTracking in TIKI.

Once you and at least one of your friends are members of a group on the free server and have set up your GpsGate program to send and receive, TIKI is ready to do Buddy Tracking.

All you need to do in TIKI - one time only - is to select the COM-port number for your GPS - and the COM-port number for Buddy Tracking. That's it.

TIKI will ask for your COM-port number the first time you start Buddy Tracking from the Buddy Menu.

Buddies positions are shown with a courseline and speed indicator,
just like your own boat. If a buddy is on the same chart as you, point at the boat mark and a pop up window will give you some basic information.

 

If you are not on the same chart, TIKI will show your buddies in a separate window with a list of all members in your group.
